The Washington University Labor and Employment Law Society (LELS) is a new student organization to Washington University this year. The purpose of LELS is to facilitate law student interest in the Labor and Employment practice area. LELS will expose students to this practice area through guest speakers, presentations, conferences, volunteer opportunities and more. We will also provide members with opportunities to participate in relevant academic, professional, and networking opportunities. The Labor and Employment field is an area of law which touches almost everyone. From Title VII to the ADA, LELS plans to have speakers and discussions on a wide range of topics which have an impact on anyone planning to enter the workforce after graduation. Whether you are interested in the federal or private sector after law school, LELS will have events and speakers appealing to everyone. Throughout the year, please feel free to join us whenever you can for the speakers and events we have planned. If you are interested in learning more or joining LELS, please reach out t Christopher Charnetsky by email at charnetskyc@wustl.edu or by phone/text at (607) 743-0214.
