Phi Alpha Delta (“PAD”) is Washington University’s all-around law society. No matter what your interests or goals are, PAD has something to offer you. Every year, we host a 1L Exam Panel where upperclassmen share their secrets to 1L success.  Furthermore, PAD is devoted to giving back to our community, and will offer opportunities to volunteer and get involved both at the University and throughout the St. Louis area. Because of the diversity of our members, PAD has senior members who have taken nearly every class (from nearly every professor) and are more than happy to offer specific advice. PAD’s community, in conjunction with our extensive outline database and horn book collection, can help the semester go more smoothly and gives our members an extra edge come finals time!

Our Washington University contacts aside, PAD exists at law schools nationwide, and thus our organization provides an excellent network no matter where you want to practice. PAD is a great resource to experience a little bit of everything and learn it first-hand from people who were in your shoes not that long ago. Any student interested in PAD or interested in learning more should contact Alex Alverson (alexandra.alverson@wustl.edu).
