Mike Altepeter

DIRECTOR, FACILITIES PLANNING & MANAGEMENT

Mike Altepeter is a registered architect. He advises the Dean on all planning and design issues for both new construction projects and renovation of existing spaces. He works closely with faculty on all new laboratory designs as well as any upgrading of spaces needed to enhance either the academic mission or research within the School. He continually evaluates the spaces within the School for their functionality, efficiency, and quality of finish.

Megan Flake

Megan Flake

Manager of Lab Operations, Safety & Protocol

Megan Flake works with all research and teaching labs to review, implement, coordinate, and monitor policies and procedures pertaining to laboratory safety. Megan is a valuable resource for faculty, staff, and students in addressing questions and concerns associated with laboratory safety. In addition, Megan manages the emergency preparedness program and acts as a liaison with the staff from the Environmental Health and Safety department of the University.
