Where is the lab located?
The SPAN Lab is located in Somers Family Hall (formerly the Psychology Building) on the Danforth Campus at Washington University — on Forsyth Boulevard and Tolman Way between Big Bend Boulevard and Skinker. Reserved parking for the lab is located on Forsyth and Tolman Way directly in front of the building.
After turning onto Tolman Way, immediately turn RIGHT into the parking lot parallel to Forsyth. Just past the archway you will see a parking spaces on the right with numbered red signs marked “Reserved for Psychological and Brain Sciences Research Participant Only” — this is where you should park.
A researcher will greet you at your car with the parking permit. Since we have limited parking spots available, please arrive at your appointment time (not early), as another participant may be finishing up. If you arrive early, please call the lab at (314) 935-4323.
Are you using a phone for Navigation?
iPhone users will want to type in “Tolman Way, Saint Louis, MO 63105” into your navigation app. Our official address is 6411 Forsyth Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63130 but in order to get to parking you have to turn on Tolman.
Android users will want to type in “249 Orange St, University City, MO 63130” into your navigation app. It will take you right to our archway where you will see those previously mentioned parking spots on the right.
