Jonathan’s research focuses on the transcriptional regulatory networks and molecular pathways governing cell proliferation and differentiation during brain development. His main interests lies in understanding the role of the nuclear factor one (NFI) transcription factors in this process.
Jonathan graduated from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science in 2013. He then obtained his PhD in 2020 while working under the supervision of Professor Richards at the Queensland Brain Institute.
Outside of the laboratory, Jonathan enjoys reading, travelling and sampling food from around the world.
