Habby is a rotating graduate student in the Richards Lab this fall (2023). Her research project focuses on using fat-tailed dunnarts to investigate cortical circuit development through histological analysis.

Habby majored in both Neuroscience and Economics at Tulane University. Upon graduating from college in 2020, she was accepted into Tulane’s Neuroscience 4+1 Master’s program on the thesis track. During her master’s year, she explored the network oscillation mechanisms within the thalamocortical circuit using a computation model. She is particularly interested in systems neuroscience, neural circuits, and synaptic plasticity.

Outside of the lab, Habby loves spending time with her cats. She also enjoys hiking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants and bars with her friends.
