Anaika’s research focuses on learning the histological and immunological techniques of mice and the fat-tailed dunnart marsupial to learn more about cortical development in the cerebral cortex. She is intrigued to learn more about how we can learn more about human brain function using marsupial embryos.
Anaika is a sophomore studying global health with minors in biology and computer science. She is on a pre medical path with an eventual goal of attending medical school.
In her spare time, Anaika likes to dance (a member of the WashU Bhangra dance team), spend time with friends, and travel. She is also involved in WU Children’s Project and WashU MedLife.
