Thesis title: Characterising the vomeronasal system of the fat-tailed dunnart
Description of research: The aim of this project was to characterize the vomeronasal system of the fat-tailed dunnart (Sminthopsis crassicaudata), a marsupial, specifically by looking at the expression of Gαo and Gαi2 in the accessory olfactory bulb. An additional marsupial, the bridled nail-tail wallaby (Onychogalea fraenata), was also examined for comparison.
