Computer hardware and software orders should be placed through WashU IT’s ServiceNow portal. View the full catalog of products and services offered through Shared IT Services on the ServiceNow portal here.
- Computers must be purchased from the Depot unless they give permission in writing to purchase them elsewhere.
- All software orders must originate in the ServiceNow portal. If a software cannot be procured/managed by WUIT and the WUIT contact indicates that the software is “safe” and compatible with WU managed equipment, their approval for the user to purchase should be submitted with the request for reimbursement.
- If advance approval is not secured, a maximum of $150 will be covered by Olin.
All faculty and staff have access to free and discounted software through WUIT. Visit the Service Now Software Catalog for a list of available software.
