Frequently Asked Questions

Question: I am a student employee and have received a reimbursement before, but I am being asked for more information for my current reimbursement request.  Why do you need the same information again?

Answer: We have to process your current reimbursement using a different document type and our accounting software requires the information again. Please submit the required information so that we may process your request.


Question: How can I see the expense reports created for me in Workday and when they were paid?

Answer: From the Workday Menu, choose Expenses Hub, then Expense Reports. Helpful hints:

  • Click on any expense report number to open the expense report
    • The header tab will provide an overview of the reimbursement
    • The expense payment tab will provide the payment date and all the expense reports captured on a payment
    • The expense lines tab will show each receipt copy and where it was charged
