Park 44 is located in the Central West End, northeast of the medical campus, and is home to many medical students, healthcare professionals, and families. It is slightly less than a 15-minute walk to class and is a five minute walk to Whole Foods/restaurants in the Central West End. Units offered at Park 44 are renovated studios, one bedrooms, and two-bedroom suites. In my opinion, the apartments are a good value given their affordability and quality compared to similar options in the area. Although utilities are extra (~$40/month for electricity and water/waste disposal), heating and A/C are included in the rent, so you can crank up the heat in the winter (I’m looking at you, DelCo). Management and the leasing office have been helpful with moving in and have promptly addressed rare repair/maintenance issues. I am completely satisfied with my experience at Park 44 and would recommend it to any incoming student.
