WUPS kicked off the season with its inaugural coffee hour and had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Jessica Silva-Fisher to engage with our postdocs in an informal setting, focusing on MEDA. Our postdocs introduced themselves and engaged in stimulating conversations with our guest, delving into topics such as career development and job applications. Jess graciously answered a plethora of questions and underscored the significance of seeking multiple mentors who can offer unique guidance throughout one’s career journey. The coffee and discussions extended for well over an hour.
