Hannah Sypher Locke is a graduate student of Dr. Todd Braver. She is studying individual differences in motivation and self-regulation, and how these constructs relate to academic performance. Her current study looks at trait motivation levels, reward preferences, and other personality variables, to see how these might affect performance improvement in a simple cognitive task. Dr. Braver has stated that the work is a pioneering study combining motivation and cognitive control, personality, and brain function.
