Andy Jones

Former Research Assistant (2001-2002)

Andy is a Research Assistant working with Todd Braver. He is interested in using computational modeling techniques to integrate findings from various cognitive neuroscience domains. Andy received his BA in mathematics and psychology from Washington University where he worked with Dr. Braver on a senior honors thesis exploring the role of the anterior cingulate cortex in monitoring cognitive performance. He is currently working on a project which examines the temporal consequences of failing to update information in working memory, which may offer insight into the behavior of patients with schizophrenia. He is also collaborating with Todd Braver and Jeff Zacks on a computational model of sequential learning and event segmentation.
