Shweta Tendulkar, Ph.D.

Shweta is a postdoc at the DiAntonio Lab in the Department of Developmental Biology. She did her PhD at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune, India. For her doctoral work, she explored the role of non-neuronal cells in the progression of a motor neurodegenerative disease called Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Currently, at the DiAntonio Lab, she studies the mechanisms that define axon degeneration.

Sandhya Tripathi, Ph.D.

Sandhya Tripathi is a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Anesthesiology where she is working on the fairness aspects of using electronic medical records to design clinical prediction models. She received her Ph.D. degree from IEOR, IIT Bombay by writing a thesis on learning in the presence of label noise and feature subset selection.

I am a bioengineer specializing in musculoskeletal research, exploring how different pathologies especially diabetes impact tissue function through biomechanics, -omics, and imaging techniques. Recently, I joined the EC Policy Committee with the goal of advocating for policies that better recognize and support the contributions of postdocs to their institutions.

Dalin Yang, Ph.D.

Dalin is working as a postdoc research associate at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, WUSM. Her research aims to investigate brain function in health and disease. She is currently focused on brain imaging, neuromodulation, brain-computer interface, and clinical applications, including developing non-invasive neuroimaging modalities, and applying them to studies in childhood development, neurodegeneration disease, and clinical bedside neuromonitoring during cardiac surgery.

Ray obtained his PhD in Theoretical Physics from Massey University, New Zealand. He is now a postdoc at the Wexler Lab in the Department of Chemistry. His research interests include developing efficient and accurate computational methods for quantum many-body problems, with applications to material sciences.
