SMART Africa-Ghana is a pilot study that tests the effectiveness of the Multiple Family Group (MFG) Intervention amongst approximately 180 children and their caregivers in northern Ghana. This year, the team finalized the 16-week assessments within the control schools and plan to complete the six month assessments by October. In addition, the team has screened participants in the treatment schools and has begun collecting baseline assessments. Upon completion of the baseline assessments, the facilitators are ready to start delivery of the MFG sessions in the first school.
