SMART Africa Center has convened a trans-disciplinary team of researchers, NGOs, and government officials in Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda and the United States who come with research, policy, and practice expertise in global mental health, social work, psychiatry, poverty, HIV/AIDS prevention, social epidemiology, implementation and dissemination, community engagement, health disparities, health and education policy, public health, biostatistics, health economics and interpersonal violence.
