SMART Africa-Ghana is a pilot study that tests the effectiveness of the Multiple Family Group (MFG) Intervention amongst approximately 180 children and their caregivers in northern Ghana. The Ghana team continues to progress with the study implementation. In September, the team continued with the delivery of the MFG session in treatment schools, with a participation rate of more than 80 percent. Families continue to be enthusiastic about the sessions and the impacts they are having within their families. The team also entered data that was collected from the control schools.
