Josephine Nabayinda, MScs

Josephine Nabayinda is SMART Africa’s data manager in Uganda field office. She holds a Master of Science degree in Development Management from the University of Agder-Kristiansand Norway, and a bachelor’s degree of Adult and Community Education from Makerere University-Uganda. Her interest in research has grown right from her Bachelor’s degree throughout her Masters where she has gained immense experience in dealing with human subjects through qualitative research. Having worked as an Administrative/Accounts assistant in her former job placement, Josephine gained knowledge and skills in managing data, by ensuring its quality and integrity. During her time working with SMART Africa, she will be managing SMART Africa data, including entry, cleaning and analyzing the results. She will also be coordinating MHealth study-which is a component of the Suubi4Her study that aims at examining the access and utilization of mobile phones (technology) and acceptability of MHealth interventions among adolescent girls
