Dr. Hadiza Osuji is an Adjunct Professor at the McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research at New York University Silver School of Social Work. Over the past decade, she has served on several research studies focused on enhancing child and adolescent health and mental health using evidence-informed, collaborative and community-strengthening approaches. Dr. Osuji was awarded the NIMH health disparities loan repayment grant to support her continued involvement in research to close the knowledge gap regarding mental health among African female immigrant populations.
