The Sadtler laboratory has partnered with the Institute for School Partnership at Washington University to provide continuing education workshops for high school teachers in the St. Louis region. These workshops introduce high school teachers to the chemistry of crystals and the use of CrystalMaker™ a software program to visualize the 3D structures of crystalline solids.

We are also working with students at Maplewood Richmond Heights High School in St. Louis County.  Students learn to use CrystalMaker™ to view and manipulate different crystal structures. The students are also introduced to scientific research by preparing and testing different metal oxide compounds for electrocatalytic water oxidation.
