
Ricardo Brandão is an associate professor at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and the coordinator of the Active Living Laboratory (LaVA), which focuses its research on physical activity promotion, built environment, active transportation, and public health. He is also the coordinator of the 2030 Agenda Program at UERJ and a member of the Working Group on Environment and Physical Activity of the Brazilian Society of Physical Activity and Health. He holds a fellowship from the Young Scientist of Rio de Janeiro State Program (FAPERJ) and is a Pró-Researcher at UERJ. In his leisure time, he enjoys listening to music, playing percussion instruments, and cycling around the city.
