Seigle Hall recordings

The Center for Teaching and Learning has set up recordings studios in Seigle Hall on the north end of campus. Sessions are scheduled in 90 minute segments and you can sign up here: https://teachingcenter.wustl.edu/2020/06/request-for-video-recording-in-seigle-hall/ . When you sign up, the staff will help you choose a room and capture mode based on your preferences and educational goals.

Below are two videos I made there. The first video (1:48) briefly outlines the filming process itself:

The second video (8:48) was filmed using the room equipment in Seigle 106 and shows each of the possible capture modes there. My preference was the smart board, which combines a natural instructor presence and familiar software with a clear image and the ability to save your work to Canvas (e.g., using a OneNote class notebook).
