An Argentine physiologist.

A co-recipient of a 1947 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine for his discovery of the role played by pituitary hormones in regulating the amount of blood sugar in animals.

He started his undergrad (pharmacy) as a 14-year old and medical school as 17-year old.
