Mental Health
Whether you are a new graduate student or have been at WUSTL for years, the GSA wants to welcome you and let you know that we are here to support your academic and personal success.
We understand that being a graduate student offers unique challenges, and often students report feelings of isolation, loneliness, financial pressure, tension with advisors, and trouble balancing school, family, and friendships.
If you are experiencing any problems, the GSA and campus Mental Health Services (MHS) are here to help.

Writing Center & Speaking Studio
WashU’s Writing Center provides free, one-on-one tutoring to all students for any writing or public speaking project, located in the northwest corner of Olin Library’s first level, the center is an incredible resource.
One-on-one Writing Tutors are available for 1 hour 1-2 times per week, we recommend students make appointments in advance, LINK.
Workshops are small and informal, and often offered by request. Topics include critical analyses, research papers, essay exams, resumes, personal statements, revision and brainstorming.
