ARCHES project focuses on aging, cognitive functioning, and the social determinants of health among Black Americans. It addresses the underrepresentation of Black Americans in Alzheimer’s disease research, investigates environmental and systemic factors impacting health, and develops strategies to mitigate health disparities. The project aims to understand Alzheimer’s risk and improve public policies to support the health of Black adults in St. Louis and beyond.
