Emily is a junior from St. Louis, MO majoring in Psychological & Brain Sciences and minoring in Children’s Studies. She has been working with children of a wide range of ages in a variety of settings for almost a decade. Emily is particularly interested in how very young children begin to develop their worldviews and the myriad internal and external influences on this development. Beyond the lab and academics, Emily serves as a peer mentor for WashU’s Deneb S.T.A.R.S. program and serves on the executive board of her sorority. She enjoys reading, perfecting her chocolate chip cookie recipe, and going on walks.
