Ella is a junior majoring in Psychology with a concentration in Cognition in Children. She has grown up babysitting and assisting in her mom’s first-grade class back home in Denver, Colorado. In doing so, she’s found a passion for trying to understand how kids interact with the world and go on to develop into adolescents, teenagers, and adults. Outside of the lab, she is a part-time teacher at SouthSide Early Education Center where she works with children aged 0-5 years. Ella is especially interested in how abnormal psychology develops in young people and wants to go on to become a clinical psychologist. When she’s not in the lab or working at SouthSide, Ella enjoys reading, cooking, spending time outdoors, and playing with her Shetland Sheepdog, Maddie.
