Andualem, originally born and raised in Ethiopia currently resides in Maryland. As a junior at WashU, he is majoring in Cognitive Neuroscience and minoring in Children’s Studies in the pre-med track with the hope and belief of becoming a doctor and achieving his long-dreamt life goals. He is interested in how children come to understand the world as they grow older and how the people they spend their time with or view as a mentor shapes their lives in the future. Outside of the lab, Andualem is a volunteer at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, a tutor for ESL, and loves running, playing football (soccer), and spending time out enjoying nature.
