Kayla is a Junior from Milwaukee, WI. She is majoring in Psychological and Brain Sciences with a minor in legal studies. After college, she plans to pursue a career as a clinical psychologist and eventual forensic psychologist. She also does independent humanities research with the Merle Kling Undergraduates Honors Fellowship on Black girlhood and education, specifically the phenomenon of adultification. Outside of the lab, Kayla is a Residential Assistant and Deneb Star. She also enjoys crocheting, playing with her cat, Nova, listening to music, and experiencing new things with friends.
