Shandiin Begay earned her MSW with a concentration in American Indian and Alaskan Native. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of New Mexico. Shandiin is a member of the Navajo Nation, she grew up in two homelands of Los Lunas, NM and Navajo, NM. She completed her practicum with the Women’s Safe House and Catholic Charities. She will complete a practicum with Denver Indian Family Resource Center this summer. In the future, she plans to continue her education to a doctorate degree in criminal justice or public health.
