Raymond Phillips is a third year MSW/MPH student concentrating in American Indian/Alaskan Native populations with a specialization in Policy, within the Social Work program and is considered a Generalist on the Public Health track. As a dual degree seeking student his focus primarily lies at the intersection of behavioral health and substance abuse and his area of interest is developing protective and preventative measures to limit the use of substances as a coping mechanism and to end cycles of violence among our youth. He attended Haskell Indian Nations University graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Indigenous & American Indian Studies with an Emphasis in Social Welfare. He is expected to graduate in the Spring of 2022.
