Krystian Sisson

Krystian Sisson is a second year MSW student at the Brown School. Originally from Henryetta, OK, She is a member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. Sisson graduated with her BS in Psychology from Texas A&M University and is interested in issues of abuse, particularly involving women and children. She is also interested in how policy plays an important role in the lives of those it affects. Sisson has experience working with youth in the juvenile justice setting, with youth and children in a counseling setting, and with homeless families and individuals. Sisson is excited to look through the lenses of the Buder Center to explore how social issues specifically affect the American Indian population.
