Chase Bryer

Chickasaw

Chase Bryer is a second year MSW candidate and a member of the Chickasaw Nation. He graduated with a BA in Human Rights and Media and a minor in International Studies from the University of Oklahoma. Chase’s interests include exploring the social determinants of health among LGBTQIA and two-spirit persons as well as equipping researchers, journalists, and other key actors with ways to more sensitively engage with marginalized groups particularly Indigenous communities, immigrants, and refugees through resilience-based approaches. He is also interested in engaging experiences of Indigeneity and migration on a global scale with a specific focus in Latin America.
