Michelle Giannoulakis earned her MSW with a concentration in American Indian & Alaska Native communities, with a specialization in Sexual Health and Sexual Education.  She received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Anthropology from University of Michigan – Dearborn. She completed her practicum with the St. Louis Zoo and will complete her final practicum with the Ponca Tribe in Omaha, Nebraska, She is planning on getting her mental health license and will be doing mental health work in Omaha, as well as sexual education in the Ponca Tribe medical clinic. She is descended from the Cherokee on her father’s side.
