Kendra Henry earned her MSW with a concentration in American Indian/Alaska Native Studies as an Advance Standing student. She is a member of the Navajo Nation. Kendra graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work degree with minors in Sociology and Psychology from Trinity Christian College in Spring of 2023. She completed her practicum doing research with the Kathryn M. Buder center and will complete her final practicum working with the American Indian Health Services of Chicago. Kendra’s goal is to become a licensed clinical social worker and provide culturally centered behavioral health services to Native communities. Eventually, she would like to expand her work to macro levels and work alongside Native populations in community development settings.
