Katrina Hungary earned her MSW with a concentration in American Indian & Alaska Native communities and specialization in system dynamics.  She is a descendant of the Arapaho Nation. She graduated with a Bachelors in Social Work from Brigham Young University-Idaho. After graduating with her bachelor’s, she worked for almost 3 years at a residential facility working with clients who have a severe and persistent mental illness. She is currently working as a counselor for the San Carlos Apache tribe and the Idaho Falls, Idaho area. She hopes to continue to work with Native American’s who suffer from mental illness. And to empower change in the system. Katrina is originally from Washington state and grew up on the Muckleshoot reservation. She strives to be inclusive and empathetic to all in need.
