Esther Boguszewski is a first-generation, advanced-standing student who earned her Bachelor of Social Work in August of 2022 and will earn her Master of Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health in August 2023. She descended from Listuguj  Mi’kmaq First Nations in Canada and was raised in Kankakee, a small town located just South of Chicago. Esther is a survivor dedicated to ending the stigmatization of mental health and providing mental health treatment to underserved populations, with a special focus on trauma. Throughout her education, Esther has delivered mental health services in hospital inpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, crisis line, and school settings. She is currently completing practicum at a private practice located in St. Louis, where she provides CBT and Neurofeedback to adult clients for the treatment of ADHD, depression, and anxiety.
