Jennifer Desai

Jennifer Desai is a second year MSW student and a member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. She graduated with a BS in Accounting from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. For the past four years, she has worked with a non-profit that offers free tax preparation services to the low and moderate income population here in St. Louis. Her concentration is Domestic Social and Economic Development and is considering pursuing a dual MSW/MBA degree with a specialization in non-profit management. Her hope is to lead an organization that is dedicated to combating poverty through advocacy, education, and service in marginalized communities.
