Many Voices, One Message: Honoring Our Languages to Strengthen Our Future

The 26th Annual Washington University in St. Louis Pow Wow took place on Saturday, April 9, 2016.

​​The theme “Many Voice, One Message: Honoring our Languages to Strengthen our Future” emphasizes the need to recognize that value of Native languages and to make an effort to preserve the wisdom and knowledge that is shared through language.  There were approximately 4,000 guests in attendance.

Co-Chairs of this year’s student-run Pow Wow included Veronica Bruesch (Wichita/Ponca) and Olivia Ferrara (Suquamish).
