Ronald Olum, MBChB
Dr. Ronald Olum is a young professional medical doctor, a graduate of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Makerere University (Uganda) and holds a Certificate in Leadership and Management in Health from the University of Washington (USA). He is currently working as an intern doctor at St Francis Hospital Nsambya, Kampala, Uganda. Dr. Olum has over four years of experience in clinical and public health research with interests in child and adolescent health, and the interaction between infectious and non-communicable diseases. Over the past two years, Dr. Olum has authored or co-authored over forty publications in peer-reviewed journals which have contributed to health services advocacy, policy formulations, and further research. He currently serves as a technical advisory group member at UNESCO and a Guest Associate Editor at Frontiers in Epidemiology Journal.
