Mamadu Baldeh, MSPH, MD
Dr. Mamadu Baldeh is a medical doctor and clinical researcher from Sierra Leone. He currently serves as the clinical research fellow for the longitudinal hospital-based stroke register study (Stroke in Sierra Leone, SISLE study) in the main adult tertiary hospital in Sierra Leone. He is well regarded as a Demonstrator in the Department of Anatomy for his methodological approach and mentorship to medical students at the country’s only medical school.
Dr. Baldeh previously served as secretary-general and president of the Junior Doctors Association of Sierra Leone (JUDASIL), an organization that aims to identify the root causes and advocate for better conditions of service for health workers in Sierra Leone. He is a recipient of multiple national as well as international recognition and awards.
