Thank you for your interest in having our Teaching Teams volunteers host your students for a field trip!

Teaching Teams offers to host your students on the Washington University campus for our hands-on science demonstrations as well as tours of our world-renowned biomedical research facilities, such as the McDonnell Genome Institute, Center for Cellular Imaging, Zebrafish Facility, and the Grossman Mineral Museum.

Complete the form below to design a field trip to Washington University for your K-12 class or youth program. A Teaching Teams representative will follow up within two weeks to confirm receipt and event details.

Field Trip Details

Please note: we can only schedule field trips at least three weeks in advance and cannot guarantee a requested date. Field trips will be held on the WUSM Medical Campus (Central West End) unless otherwise specified. The maximum number of students per field trip is one classroom or ~30 students.
e.g., 9:30am – 11:30am (morning); 12:30pm – 2:30pm (afternoon); 3:30pm – 5:30pm (after school)

Indicate your field trip preferences below. You can request either two Teaching Teams to host your students or one Teaching Team & one campus facility tour. If you are undecided, a Teaching Team representative will be in touch to suggest the perfect activities for your group.
Please note: All tours are subject to availability. Zebrafish Facility tours are only offered in the afternoon. Additionally, the Grossman Mineral Museum tour can only be combined with the Chemistry Team due to location.
