Housed in Brown hall room 100 and complete with professional-standard digital projection, 35mm projection, graduated seating and Dolby Surround Sound, we strive to deliver a classic cinema experience. At WU Cinema we pride ourselves on the diversity of our film choices, from mainstream blockbusters to independent, foreign, and documentary films; whatever we think will entertain and educate our customers. And all are welcome!
Although our core audience consists of the university’s student population, we are open to everyone. We host screenings every other Thursday during the semester and occasionally on weekend nights. Popcorn and a selection of sweets and chocolate confectionary are also available at low prices at the door on the night.
Alongside our regular screenings, we also host quiz nights, film festivals, guest speakers and more! Plus, the money we make is poured straight back into the running of the cinema, providing you – our customers, both local St. Louisans and fellow students – with the very best service and the very best films…Enjoy the show!
