The Hi-Pointe Theatre and WU Cinema are proud to present John Water’s cult classic PINK FLAMINGOS on 35MM! Join us Thursday, February 20th at 8PM at the Hi-Pointe for this outrageous, sensational screening of “an exercise in poor taste!”
This collaborative screening brings a film selection from the WU Cinema student executives to the big screen at the Hi-Pointe with the generous support of the @hipointetheatre team! WashU students, reserve your discounted $5 tickets here with code “flamingos” at checkout, or bring your WashU ID to the Hi-Pointe Box Office! The Hi-Pointe is also offering WashU students a free small popcorn with a fountain drink purchase, and will be hosting a first-come, first-serve giveaway of assorted movie posters before the screening!
About the film: Notorious Baltimore criminal and underground figure Divine goes up against Connie & Raymond Marble, a sleazy married couple who make a passionate attempt to humiliate her and seize her tabloid-given title as “The Filthiest Person Alive”.
See you there! 🎞️🎥🦩
