Jeongmin is a 5th-year graduate student in the Molecular Genetics and Genomics program. She is working on identifying the brown adipose tissue secreted factor and its potential in managing type 1 diabetes in the laboratory of Dr. David Piston. Outside the lab, she loves cooking, running in the forest park, and spending most of her time with her two ultra-fluffy cats. As a communication director, she will work closely with all board members to publicize WiSTEM event and maintain WiSTEM website and social media.
