Stephen Trudeau

Undergraduate Researcher (2013)

Justin is studying siderophores produced by pathogenic Acinetobacter baumannii including acinetobactin which undergoes a curious nonenzymatic isomerization after cleavage from the NRPS assembly line.  Outside of the lab, Justin enjoys seeing live music, cooking, brewing, and Saints football.  He received his B.S. in chemistry from Rhodes College in 2013.  Justin’s favorite antibiotic is prulifloxacin.
