Jason Schaffer

Jason is investigating the biosynthesis and mechanism of action of obafluorin, a beta-lactone from Pseudomonas fluorescens.  Outside of the lab, Jason enjoys playing and watching sports, playing board games, and exploring the St. Louis craft beer scene. He recieved his B.S. in chemistry from Baylor University in 2013. Jason’s favorite antibiotic is linezolid.
