Chanez Symister

Chanez is examining the mechanism for degradation of tetracycline antibiotics by tetracycline destructases via high resolution nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). Outside of the lab, Chanez enjoys snorkeling, travelling, watching great movies, and cooking. She received her B.S. in chemistry from Midwestern State University (TX) in 2014. Chanez’s favorite antibiotic is chlortetracycline.
