Welcome to the official webpage for the Reproductive Ecology and Behavioral Endocrinology Laboratory (REBEL) in the Department of Anthropology
Located in McMillan Hall, REBEL analyzes non-invasively collected samples of nonhuman primate urine and feces to study the impact of physiology on nonhuman primate reproduction and behavior. REBEL is a Biosafety Level 2 lab and utilizes radioimmunoassays and enzymeimmunoassays in order to measure reproductive and stress hormone concentrations. REBEL can also be used for DNA and RNA extractions, allowing for associated genetic and disease research.
